Braden did not reply. He wasn't one to use such talk. He was a person of action, of purpose. Not of wishes or rituals. Instead, he turned to leave, letting his last words linger in the air around Hikani, "You should leave soon." He went off to the castle, hoping it had not gone in dissary in the few moments he had been gone.

Hikani watched as the King walked away. She sighed, once again, heavily this time, turning toward the bridge. "So where will he be? Not far I know," she mumbled to herself, crossing her arms.

"Ah, the king has left," Khin said to himself. He chuckled as he waited for him to exit his sight. From his vantage point in the tree the evil man laughed to himself. His plan had worked, the castle was as unstable as ever.
He hadn't heard what King Braden had said to Hikani, his hearing never was as good as his brother's, but he was sure it was some sort of plan against him.
The young man decided to act before Hikani had a chance to think on it. He walked out of the trees, trying not to run, and up to Hikani's side. "Have a nice chat?"

She stepped to the side, slightly startled by his sudden appearence. "You could say so. I would." She put her palms on her hips. "So whats your plan, really?" She thought about saying she 'put some thought into it,' but even she knew she wouldn't do anything close to that. Especially overnight.

Khin chuckled lightly, "Poor, poor royalty. They don't understand that in the real world, one doesn't reveal his plans to his enemies." He looked her up and down, "Of course, we don't have to be enemies." He said this very softy, almost innocently.

The princess slightly nodded her head, pretending to think and listening. "Tch tch. Well..." She turned to make her way to a tree. "We can't be seen talking out in the open like this. People might start to think I'm a traitor. I don't want that to happen yet." She looked at him, then made her way to the bridge that led to the pathways, high in the trees. "What kind of alliance do you have in mind?" She called.

Khin smiled devilishly and followed her. He was greatly looking forward to this, so much that his mind was somewhat clouded.
"Well, you be my eyes and ears in the castle, and when I take over, you can sit by my side," he said, trying to sound nonchalant as he followed her.

"That is it?How do you plan to make everything in between come about?" She turned, leaning against a high tree trunk. "Just I being your 'eyes and ears' isn't enough. I assume you have more to tell me?"

Remaining catious, Khin avoided telling her anything else, "No, no, my princess. You needn't worry yourself about such things. I just need you to tell me was the king's next moves are, and how he's handling my little . . . distraction."

"Distraction? Tell me more." She looked at her nails. "You know me. If I'm not satisfyed, I'd take back my offer." She looked back at him, not caring about the plan too much anymore.

"That's not how it works in the real world, princess," Khin said, somewhat put-off by her nonchalant attitude to the situation. "Eiuther you commit to join me, or I tell you nothing more and kill you where you stand."
He paused for dramatic effect. Khin was always one for drama. "I have five bowmen hidden among these woods, aiming their weapons for your heart, as we speak."

Hikani ignored the bowmen bit for a moment. "Stop the real world rubbish, because, in the real world, I need to know a little bit more." After that she took a glance around, appearing more formal.
((Sorry about that wait. Every time I went to reply I could never finish x.x))

Khin felt anger rise to his throat, but quickly calmed it, as he always did. "You seem to think you're in charge here, princess. You need to realize that it is my way, or the graveyard."
Khin's eyes narrowed to show he was serious.
((no worries!))

She cleared her throat. "It's seems thats what I'm doing, but I'm not. I'm not trying to take control of your well thought out plans... Sir." She took a step to the side and leaned on a tree where she could see the castle. "But I'm not simply a pawn.

"What are you then, if not a pawn?" he asked, anger becoming somewhat apparent.
"There is no room for queens on my chessboard!" Khin stepped closer to her, he was only slightly taller than she but he utilized it to the best of his abilities.
((Uck, crappy posting lately))
