((Okay, no intro post now, but a quick description of the world)) It has been 20 years since the government failed and the world is now run by huge corporations known of as megacorps. Gangs roam the streets and Cyborg and spell-slinging assasins run around doing the bidding of the megacorps. The majority of the human race are unaware of the chaos taking place in the world however, for they are connected to supercomputers, believing that the world is as it always was, their memories being supressed by microchips. And as all this is taking place, the vampires, the heads of many corporations, lie back and relax, only venturing out to gather food from people outside of the system. The presence of the vampires in the world is unknown by most people in the world, though those that do tend to seek them out, out for revenge.

((Introduce your charcter, whether they be someone in a gang on the streets or a police officer doing a job for a megacorp. (That's right, even the police serve the megacorps) though don't make your character a higher up in a corp.))

"Heh, one wonders if the people actually know what's happening to the world while they sit in their office buildings, working mindlessly for days on end..." The two figures watched from the streets, looking up at the buildings in which the straights work. "Probably not, too wrapped up in their own lives to pay attention to the rest of us." The speaker was a fit man, his hair pink and his arms tattooed. A gang member I 'spose, well, who cares, as long as he keeps giving me info... "Enough with the small talk now, what do you know about the bar I was in burning down?" Salamander, tapped his foot impatiently, eager to leave this over-populated place. "I already know who they were; they had the mark of those 'New Yakusa' people. What I want to know is why." "Do those guys really need their reasons?" The information dealer asked. "I mean, look at them funny and they'll come at you with crowbars." Salamander smirked, concealing his anger. "Both you and I know that they're more organised then that," he said. "They're not just common thugs like you." "You know, one of the dumbest things one can do, is piss off an information dealer." "Only if you leave them alive..." Salamander said, the smirk fading from his face. "You really think that screwing with me will be fine if you're in a public area?" A flash of fear showed on the information dealer's face. "Oh, and just so you know, I burnt down that bar, they merely provoked me." Flames began to gather in Salamander's hands. "No offense mate, but you've picked up too much information about me over the years, stuff that you've tried to use to blackmail me on too many occasions." The fireballs shot out and Salamander walked off, leaving his informant's body ablaze. "Now, to find someone that can actually help me..."

I could go to Janis..." Salamander muttered to himself, walking through the crowd. "Wait, but I shot him, didn't I... Gah! This stuff used to be so much easier!" He reached the bike, mounting it in one swift movement. "I wonder if Alarice is still in the information business..." The motorbike began to move. "But she's still got that grudge against me after the whole killing her son business..." He reached the road, darting between nearby cars. "Ah... So much work..." A single hand brushed through his hair. "I wonder if either of the others are having any more luck..." He peered forward, annoyance showing on his face. "Great, here's more trouble..." Both vehicles pulled over, their inhabitants stepping out onto the road. "I thought we agreed that you guys would stay out of this area..." Salamander said, a small ball of fire gathering in his hands. "Sorry, change of plans..." The police officer replied, hand reaching for his gun. "We've been instructed to take you out..." His partner soon joined him, wielding a baseball bat. "So... Who sent you guys this time?" The fire in his hands grew brighter. "Was it Vincent? That guy has it out for me..." "Ha! Goes much higher then him..." The officer said, gun now out. "Whatever you did, you messed up bad." "Well, I haven't had much action since the bar..." He raised his hands, revealing the blazing fireballs within them. "This should be fun..." Both officers immediately began firing at the piromancer, neglecting to notice the two figures now standing behind them. "Suprise!" Within moments, the vampire had sunk his teeth into the first officer's neck, draining the man's blood away. "About time..." Salamander raised an arm, immediately taking two bullets in it. "Thank god for this arm- or the surgeon at least..." "That's enough of that," the other figure announced, bring her metallic arm down on the second officer's head. He fell to the ground quickly. "Easy fixed." "Thanks guys..." Salamander pulled out the two bullets, dropping them to the ground. "Got any info?" The remaining officer dropped to the ground, now without blood. "Why is it that whenever we see you, you're always fighting with someone?" The vampire asked, eyes moving to the unconscious officer. "You done with that one Aria?" "Whatever." "Oh, joy." The vampire leant down, feeding for the second time that night. "Ugh, you disgust me..." Aria said, wiping the blood left on her arm. "No, no info yet. Haven't spoken to all of my sources yet though." Salamander's eyes darted to a nearby alleyway. I'm sure that I saw something move there.... "Well, I'm going to go check out those sources," Aria said, opening the door of the police car. "You should come with me Mathias, it's almost daylight hours." "Right..." The vampire stepped over to the car. "Meet up in the Blue Pheonix bar at seven tonight." Salamander gave a half wave to the other two before approaching the alleyway.

OOCness: Given Twidit's insistence upon this RP, I have decided to post, I might possibly continue to post, or i might let myself get killed off, who knows, might even have a whole host of characters you can actually kill, albeit not easily... I'll have to consider that
But i digress
ICacity: Yuri Zhakarov was standing at a street corner, watching the crowd, things moved quite normally, as things here usually did, the world was a screwed up place, these days, by and large, but in places like this street corner, certainly under the influence of the Mega corporations, but beneath their consideration, it was a small mall of sorts that had spring up, populated at all times of night, and a strangely safe and prosperous environment for a basic retailers that set up shot there. There were no gang wars, no back alley combat between different corporate-owned stores seeking to wipe the other out, not even the corrupt police came here.
It was a tiny rare corner of utopia, almost, as it was under the defense of the Vogel Security Group; just about the last independent public security organization around, they took special care to look after places like this, with officers ranging from normal street cops armed with little more than a powerful revolver, to highly trained and cybernetically augmented shock troops, Yuri fell in the middle of that spectrum, he was the direct response supervisor for this area the title meant little, it just meant he did the work of a street cop, just keeping the peace upon his slice of the world, but he was armed like a battleship, and obviously so, he was the heavy force presence of Vogel Security in this area, and they always did enjoy making it obvious. Suddenly, the police-band radio on his belt went off, it was set to a very small area, so you wouldn't get the crap the whole city does, but getting something at all meant it was near enough for his consideration "This is Observer one, Officers Down on Marisol and Track, looks like Vampires" Yuri Cursed, Vampires Trailed all sorts of trouble, and if they were close enough for him to get chatter about it, that meant all kinds of bad, even if the Vampires left without any trouble, the police would come after their men, and If Vampires were trouble, the police were like some kind of natural disaster, they were like gangs, only funded and armed by the Corps.
No. He would have to go and try to sweep this under the carpet before things got out of hand, he pushed off the wall and raced to his Company car, a small (since he was only in one place, and didn't need it for patrol) yet powerful old Jeep of sorts, Painted in the Red Scheme of Vogel Security, and with a big fat Vogel logo on the hood, doors, bumper and anywhere else they could cram it. The logo was a Bird, and not a very menacing one mind, shielding some buildings from an army deliberately stylized to look like the police, Vogel, you see, meant "Bird" in some old, forgotten language. Yuri Sped to the scene, hoping, strangely, to find the vampires still there, one would think someone would hope not to encounter vampires, but he really needed to deal with this now, before it got into some crazy war that would sweep the little block of shops under his jurisdiction into it, thankfully, he got there in time, seemed the observer was prompt on reporting, as they only just seemed done with slaying the policemen, though Yuri felt no remorse for the corrupt bastards.
His car skidded to a halt, and no sooner had it stopped, that he opened the door and stepped out, using it like a shield from the Vampires, since they were usually armed "Vogel Security; Hands in the air" he didn't scream it, he just calmly commanded. Luckily, despite the strange name and poncy logo, Vogel Security Group was well-known, and even respected, for the fact that it actually served justice and that kind of thing, not a corporation, he just hoped that these two knew that Cooperation was the fastest path to resolution, with regards to Yuri's employers - he didnt want to get into a fight with vampires, not because he didn't stand a change, but because he was matched with them, so it would be even worse for the area, as it wouldn't be over soon, or quietly
OOC: UBERPOST!!! that was way longer than i thought it would be, it just, well, kept going!
