Your eyes are very useful organs. They take constant video of that which goes on around you, and send it to your brain where the video can be processed into information which you understand. You see with your eyes. People use their eyes everyday for tasks that are various as they are numerous. You use them to wake yourself up, they react to light in a strange way which is displeasing, yet stimulating to them. You use them to make your way to the kitchen where you use them to decide whether or not the food laid out before you is worth your while or not. Eyes are used for basic tasks, for gathering information, for pleasure, and for observing. One observes different events throughout the day. These events are usually no paradox, someone buying a newspaper, an old woman feeding the pigeons, a poor man begging for money. The television. You watch the television. And on the news there are tales of woe and grief and sadness. It is then that, for reasons unknown to me, people cease to use their eyes. Suddenly their eyes have something better to do. Such as look at the kids, contemplate the tapestry hanging on the wall, follow the dog as it scurries in search of its playthings. The eyes are useful, yet most do not use them for that which they were formed. People suffer, animals die by the millions, governments grow ever more corrupt. Yet you tell yourself that everything will be okay. Someone will deal with these issues sooner or later. You’ll die before America becomes a communism. Everything will be okay, as long as you pay no attention to the world as it is. I am not one to weep over dead men, but I do accept that their deaths have meaning, as did their lives. But still, most of you deny that there is a family without a mother now. You deny that a pair of lovers is down to one. You deny that anyone’s death has any meaning! You simply sit in your little bubble, with your eyes sewed shut. You surround yourself with familiar people and things. You deny the world and accept only what you wish to accept. The slightest change in pattern, the smallest new introduction into your bubble is disastrous, cataclysmic. Studies have shown that children cannot adapt to change. I believe that this is also true for adults. You fools cannot accept change. You cannot accept that things outside of your bubble aren’t perfect. And by perfect I mean how you like to live your life. Everyone enjoys their life, but some deny that too. There are those who pretend that their life is horrible, unbearable. They act as if nothing will ever go good for them again, yet they live the same life as everyone else. They draw their own blood, not because it helps them with the “pain” but because they enjoy their depressing way of life. They are used to pain and desire more of it, they don’t want change. They sew their eyes shut to the realism that they are normal people with normal emotions. They desire to be different for the sake of being different. Besides a select few of you, everyone’s eyes are sewed shut. And unless you plan to open them to the world around you yourself, I believe someone will open them for you. Tearing one’s stitches is not the most pleasant event.

Pretty big picture Loveless . . .
I like it. Your interesting opinions are once again expressed in a creative and fun way. I approve *exalts*. Though I don't really agree with everything you say, I am impressed at your writing skills. One thing I do agree with is your little bash on emos there at the near end. It's very true, they just live for the drama.

Loveless, I must agree with Malum on this. I'm highly impressed with this, and your skill passes both Malum's an mine. But be careful of who's stitches you tear, because not everyone sees the same as you do when their eyes are open. And a few people may fight back, and fight back hard.

That is the purpose of the Order of the Heartless, to force open those fool's eyes and make them accept it.

Ignorance is bliss if you like a unchanging world.

I agree with Grimm and Malum on a few points. But in this argument I mostly side with Lord Loveless. As expected you only show the dark side of thought, I disagree with that. What is wrong with the Order is the fact that too my knowledge you either deny the fact that true happiness exists or shun those who think they have it. I agree that the good of this world is in its slow and fighting death. We live in a world where not one hundred years ago, people would be shot, hung, or imprisoned for their everyday behavior. As a christian I know the end of this world. I won't lecture you people on that. But from a scientific standpoint, we are the most intelligent race on Earth, but we are also the most stupid. We create machines that kill off the things that help us survive. We pollute the water that keeps us alive, we cut down the trees that give us life giving oxygen, and burn them to create deadly carbon dioxide. Animals are slaughtered everyday too such an extent that we are on the verge of a large mass extinction. A child dies every twenty seconds on one continent alone. And yet we have people in america tht think their lives are worse then people in Africa where half of the people are poor, they are plagued by malaria, they lose family members daily. People are ignorant. This is why I debate everyday why we even exist. I agree with Lord Loveless on the point of the mayjority of people ignoring the horrible reality. But...This is a pointless rant, as there are too few people on this site too make a difference, and some of the people are too ignorant too even take this seriously.

No, no, no, Crow... You misunderstood. It is not an arguement, as much as it is... two points of view colliding. You may say no difference, but this is what I am saying...
You know a part of me is with Carl. A part of me always will be, and nothing can change that. No matter my hate for him and his beliefs, I know part of me will be in agreement with him... Just one of the two sides you would be displeased with if I told you about. The other will not be brought up ever, do you understand? Your questions will fall on deaf ears. There are things I do not ask of you, this is something you do not ask of me. Are we clear?
But... people with their eyes suddenly opened to the light do not always adjust as the Heartless do. A fair warning to an old comrade. The Empaths are ready.

Ah your most gruesome form of torture Raven! You should know how curious and searching my mind is. If I know a thing exists that I don't know, I simply HAVE to know it. I will respect that wish as long as I can, but eventually I will ask, I apologize ahead of time.
