Yuri and Twidit, start your engines! I'm going to be modifying a few things in the rules (since I kinda skipped the beta test) as we go, which I know is sort of heresy among public testing. So, normally in Stratega each tribe will have their own sub-board which is only accessable to them. That's to keep things like their recourses, soldier positions, and location secret. In the this test it's not so important, so all the information will be placed on the same thread. So, here we go. Yuri and Twidit, choose your chief's: Eyes and color Note: If you don't like any of the colors you can tell me what you want. Same with hair color. Hair and color Mouth and Nose and then we'll go from there...

Haha, I like it. Okay, here comes the good stuff. Below are the different staffs you can purchase as chief. You both have 15 Karma, and I will restore all of that by the end of this Alpha Test, so don't be afraid to spend. You can choose to buy a staff later if you don't want to right now. Your chief can also buy multiple staffs (now or later), but can only carry one at a time, the rest remain in his tent while not in use. The order goes right across and then again on the next row. Name - Cost - Abilities Stick – 1 – +1 Fighting Shaman Staff – 20 – Chief can wield magic like Shaman, can use Chief hut as Shaman hut Magic Wand – 5 – Chief can perform magic tricks to impress barbarians Eternal Fire – 5 – Chief can light things on fire Dream Catcher – 5 – Enemy Shamans cannot frighten tribe members in Chief’s presence Sickle – 3 - +2 Fighting, Chief can farm Ruby Staff – 10 – Enemy Chiefs will run in fear from your Chief Bull Whip – 5 – Villagers will complete all tasks (besides combat) 1 turn faster

Yes, I'm sure he does...
10 Karma left.
((I'm not really going to take Karma away on the Alpha Test, just because I'm lazy))

Can you guys directly email me your chiefs? The image hosts all turn them into jpg files, which fuzzes them up. teoamn@msn.com Anyway, here's our test world. Yuri, you're blue. Twidit, you're orange. I'll be playing the reds. As you can see, I put you two very close together. In the real Stratega I will tend to do this from time to time, so that the tribes will be forced into battle for territory, or a treaty. Note there are also barbarian camps which are not displayed on the map until you discover them. The barbarians are gray.
