(( Alright, my third swing at writing, give me your opinions! ))
The Assassin's Creed...
I'll always remember that night... No matter how many times they tell me that I can't remember that night because I was to young, and that it was all just a dream... I'll always remember that night... The wicked orange hue of my burning home... And the protesting screams of my birth-mother as I was dragged away... I will remember most, though, the silence that came after her final cry.... I'll always remember that night...
A harsh feminine voice cracked through those memories and Hitokari's eyes refocused to find himself looking into the pale blue eyes of his instructor, she was tall, thin, and slender, her weapon resembled her... Some say that her kill-count numbered in the thousands.... Legends even circulated that her blade was as old and as magical as the old gods themselves... But those were just tales told by fools who no longer possessed the strength to swing a blade, or the will to see a man die. Still though, legends or not, she was formidable, and he had to answer quick, or the academies greatest instructor would have a new student by the next morning.
" Well you idiot, are you going to stare at me like I've got five heads or are you going to reply to my god damned question? " Her constant use of profanity made Hito force himself to stifle a laugh. He found that speaking was pointless, it only gave away information, and that went against the Creed. So he respectfully raised two fingers, signaling that he would not answer, many people thought that he was mute, and she was among them. Her face deepened its red hue, and she withdrew her blade, pressing it against his throat and speaking quietly, but wish extreme venom. " I've killed men for not answering me before Hito... Should I add you to my kill-count? It would be an honor to be able to say that I have killed the greatest student that has ever passed through this academy......" She sighed deeply and returned her blade to its place, turning and walking away, looking back at me piercingly, with a hint of respect, and more then a hint of hate. " Review ambush tactics, you know how. The town is available tonight, so make good use of it." And with that, she vanished, simply vanished.
" She is an odd one isn't she Hito? " A deep voice came from behind him and as quickly as he turned, he still could only catch the fleeting glimpse of a nimble woman, as fit as his instructor, but much smaller, and more slender. Most of the assassin's at this academy were female, in fact, Hito was one out of ten males, in the total of 100 students. " No other woman here would avoid you but her... But thats your fault! " He turned again and eyed her, she had her trademark smile, playful but twisted, hiding something. She was attractive, in fact, she was beautiful, her blond hair flowing off of her shoulders, and her eyes like chocolate jewels. Hito could not help but return the foolish smile. They looked like schoolchildren, standing there, smiling, but neither moved. Assassins were taught that romance was not forbidden, but nor was it recommended, especially not with other Assassins. So after minutes of silence, Hito stepped forward, and nodded his head in respect before walking off, the classic outfit of the assassin's black chain mail vest, black chain mail pants covered by thin Etherium plates, and a hooded cloak, causing him to stand out in the searing heat of the summer day.
