(( Demonstrating how description can completely change the feel of a situation. ))
The smell of dirt filled the mans nostils as he lay on the ground, the sweat turning the dirt the stained his face into a semi liquid muddy substance. Footsteps and crys could be heard and he raised his head to face a beast, a large dog, barelling right for him, a look in the animals eye of chase... Battle. On instinct he darted away, scrambling away, but to no avail. He was fenced in.
He changed to evading it, charging across the open space, trying to get away, only to reach the other side shortly after.
Turning to face his assailant, he smirked, and revealed something small, odd shaped, and almost threatening, the beast pounced on him, both of them slamming into the ground.
The dog licked his face, and the boy squealed, throwing the treat into the air, the dog catching it and raining crumbs on the small child before returning to the happy licking. The cheering of his friends filled his ears, and he laughed, rolling with the animal on the ground before it ran off, and he chased it.

No, it doesn't lack quality, just has your distinctive scent on it.
