Say what?!?!?
My poem made it into Poetry.com semi-finals?
You left me with a single phrase That I don't know how to chew upon Then seeing the strange look upon your face The last thing I saw til dawn Your words are pounding my mind Its a great strain upon my temper People try to pass as kind But knowing truth often is a damper The masks hath not been taken off But it is too easy to see through them Am I behind the mask not taken off Or just barely outside to see them off I cannot chew upon your words They're wrecking my head affecting my temper To conjure and repeat the words I heard Is easier to me than breathing air You see therein doth the problem lie From words left so long ago Dusk to dawn seen from my eye Here to nowhere it refuses to go Your phrase has haunted me day and night Its opened a world I don't wish to know Everyone has a mask in sight No one knows the person below
I got the letter in the mail and its getting published. ... Woah....
